We are pleased to announce the first Story Arts Festival Homer will take place September 27th and 28th of 2019. This two-day community festival celebrating stories and storytelling is a free family event highlighting performances of storytellers, readings by authors of books for all ages, writing and storytelling workshops, and a chance for local authors and storytellers to share their talents. The Phillips Free Library and the Center for the Arts of Homer are joining together to create this celebration of literature and storytelling not just for our community, but for the greater Central New York area.

Events will be held simultaneously at multiple venues, including the Center for the Arts, the Library, and the Church on the Green. We invite all area businesses and organizations to get involved in supporting this exciting festival. Please consider donating to help sponsor a storyteller or author. If you are interested in being involved in other ways, feel free to contact Priscilla at the library 607-749-4616 or email her at director@phillipsfreelibrary.org
